Empty String - an empty string is normally idenified as variable_name = ''. An empty string is not theoretically a NULL value although some databases treat it the same.

EnterpriseDB - A commercial company that started in 2005 and provides a pre-packaged, binary distribution of Postgres and a version of Postgres that offers some limited Oracle compatbility.

Essbase - Oracle Essbase is an OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) Server that includes a rapid application development environment. Oracle Essbase, along with OBIEE, is part of the Oracle BI Foundation.
