Fact - Measurement. In general, it is the numeric value that is acted upon by a user using a data mart.

Foreign Key - A foreign key is an identifier that references data in a different table. A foreign key is an attribute, or set of attributes, in one table that match the primary key of a different table, thereby relating the two tables.
